How big is The Key?
The measurements are: 4(L) x 4(W) x 2(H) inches and/or 10(L) x 10(W) x 5(H) cm. The weight is approx. 2,2 lb./ 1 kg.
How long will it take to get The Key?
The Key is a handmade product and will be produced in batches or small series. Depending on demand and access to the production facilities, delivery time will differ. The delivery time will also differ depending if you choose to put a physical item into The Key. This will prolong the handling time and the completion time of The Key. All this should not be problem, often when it comes to weddings the date is set many months ahead. From placed order to delivery, the time should never exceed more than 6 - 8 weeks. Can my friends and I give the key as a collective gift?
That is no problem, the only thing that you and your friends have to decide is who is going to register for the payment. Just follow the instructions on the ordering form, when it comes to the inscription on The Key you can choose if you want the inscription to be a message from you and your friends or you could ask the couple for their wish. After that two designated links will be e-mailed to the pair asking them of what to put into The Key. In the same mail they will see who is offering them this gift.
How is The Key delivered?
The Key comes in a beautiful rustic wooden box with the logo on top.
Can I give The Key to myself and my partner?
Of course, the procedure is the same, two separate designated links will be sent to you and your partner where you can decide what message you want to put into The Key or if you want to send an object to be placed into The Key instead. It’s very important that you don’t mums the word to your partner this is a part that helps maintaining the magic of The Key.
Will The Key rust?
The Key is made of cast-iron and iron will rust if you don’t protect it. When The Key is delivered it has a thin coat of anti-rust liquid. You can go two ways, either you let The Key age and get the patina that nature decides or you prevent oxidation by coating The Key with thin layer of, for example, an industrial anti-rust spray like WD-40 or you can use olive oil.
